Super Smooth AM-2, 90mm Blade sweeping back for Chef style action from a Folder (finally at last) utilising the entire edge of the blade instead of the point always doing the bulk of the work. The 378CN folder makes the ideal mobile helper or lay it around the kitchen bench at home. The Bohler Uddeholm N690 from the Austrian maker is a absolute swish fit for this knife and rivals the up market chef knives in the market place. We have gone all out in the photo with the Ogg Sharpening edge (Chef style) to go with Maserin’s precision piece.
You will be hooked on this- Guaranteed! They say sports cars run on rails but in the world of knives so does this. The AM-2 folding pocket knife from Maserin has a blade that flips open on stainless thrust bearings each side of its pivot for a super smooth action eliminating the binding woes of knives as they get older. Polished stainless inner rails on this knife with the beautiful fleck of the carbon fibre handle with scalloped finger grips. The Ogg Sharpening favourite flat grind in the blade made from N690 at 60 Rockwell C. This blade is well forged and has serious abrasion resistance and takes an unbelievable edge. The blade is wide at 30mm near the heel and sweeps back making the entire cutting edge useful for a larger variety of applications at 90mm long. It’s built around extremely high corrosion resistance and comes with a tough nylon pouch. Fully made by Maserin in Italy.
