it opens up all the other uses that are denied by other blades.D2 is tough tool steel with a nice percentage of Vanadium and Carbon and sits nicely in the range of 58 Rockwell C.D2 is slightly down on the chrome end but not by much and fits the term semi stainless but maintenance is low and neglect doesn’t go well with any knife.This knife holds an edge with these properties and Maserin once again with exquisite fit up and finish.The knife can easily be modified by Ogg Sharpening with removal of the serration and with a gentle sweep past the clearway and finger guard rolls this blade into a beautiful shape and a whole different outfit.So when looking at your use at hand, this knife can cover some ground .The G10 handle is eye catching and extremely comfortable and around 7mm thick makes it as robust as it gets.It has a Kydex pouch and strap and can be worn in a number of ways and is locked in very securely no matter which way it is worn.This is a very high quality outfit using high end materials for a lifetime of use.Fully Made By Maserin In Italy.
